Shorts That Aren't Too Short

This summer in NYC has been unbearably hot. I have felt like when I go out to get my iced chai in the morning (only three blocks away from my house) I come back to my apartment dripping in sweat.

So in this extreme heat I felt like I didn’t have enough appropriate clothing. Every year I have seen companies make their shorts shorter and shorter. For me personally I don’t feel comfortable showing too much and I hate getting cat called by random guys on the street. What I decided to do was go on a hunt for normal looking jeans.I found three stores wear I was supper happy with their shorts and they weren’t overpriced. 

The first place I went to was John Galt. Since the store is vintage, I found old Levis that I loved and fit perfectly with a cute belt.

 The second place I loved was on the Bloomingdales website I found a ton of shorts that were from a brand called Aqua. The shorts are super cute and I love wearing them a bodysuit underneath. 

The final place I went was Zara, they had cute low cut shorts that looked super cool when I wore them with a silky white top and black Vince low cut boots.
