dealing with anxiety

Hey guys, I’m so sorry I haven’t been posting, but I had a really full weekend, and I could barely be on my computer.

I have been trying to find good inspiration on what to blog about so I could give you guys my very best work. So I decided to talk about one of the ways I deal with my anxiety. Year’s back I went to a psychologist to talk about my nervousness.  Being young in NYC can be a struggle, especially when it comes to anxiety. The psychologist said I have much more anxiety than an average kid but that exercise would help. Now that I know more about it, I decided to manage my anxiety and work towards a more peaceful state of mind.

Last year my anxiety was at its climax because my hipbone was miss-placed and I could not exercise for a whole year. I didn’t realize that exercising was so good for me until I had no choice but to be on bed rest. So the day I was approved to exercise I immediately started to do every work out possible. During the summer I took a 20 minute run everyday from 7:00-7:20. Afterwards I would take a break and go to get smoothie at juice generation. This was the main exercise I did everyday. Five times a week I would also go to Soulcycle.

SoulCycle is a place where I feel like I can leave my anxiety on the bike. You are in the dark, and all you're thinking about is your problems and how you’re leaving them behind. So if you ever feel like stress is causing you to have meltdowns or makes you feel down just try out new exercise skills to help you wind down.
